The match day report laid against Dean Solomon (Fre) for charging Andrew Embley (WCE) in Q1 was reviewed. The panel said that contact was unavoidable between the players. Solomon attempted to reduce the impact and put his arms up in a pushing motion to Embley’s chest, and did not bump the West Coast player. There was no high contact made and the panel said the amount of physical force used was not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken.
