l Dean Solomon (Fre) was cited with a Level One rough conduct offence against Shane Wakelin (Col) during Q??. The MRP found the offence was classified as 125 points but because of Solomon's past record his tally was increased to 232.81 points which means that even by pleading guilty he will still have a tally of 174.61 points – well over the 100 point cut-off for a one match suspension. Fremantle sought the adjudication of the Tribunal. The Tribunal found Solomon guilty and suspended him for two matches.

l Dean Solomon (Fre) was charged with striking Cameron Ling (Gee) during Q1. The incident where Solomon struck the head of Ling with a left elbow was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), severe impact (four points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of nine activation points, and any offence with nine points results in the charge being automatically forwarded to the Tribunal for its determination under MRP guidelines. He has an existing bad record of three matches suspended within the last three years. He also has 32.81 demerit points carried over from within the last 12 months.
The Tribunal heard the evidence on Tuesday and the jury after deliberation found Solomon guilty of the offence. He was suspended for eight premiership matches.
l Ryan Crowley (Fre) was charged with a level-two striking offence against Gary Ablett (Gee) in Q1. Crowley's previous poor record meant his suspension cannot be reduced from a one-game penalty, even with an early plea. The Tribunal heard the evidence on Tuesday night and following deliberation found Crowley not guilty of the charge.

The match day report against Nick Lower (PA) by umpire Scott Jeffrey for making forceful contact from front-on against Brett Peake (Fre) in Q3 was assessed.
It was the view of the MRP that Lower approached the contest bent down and with his right hand down in an effort to gain control of the ball. Although Lower did make high contact with Peake, he had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball. No further action was taken.

(Fre) was charged with a Level Two striking offence against Mark Nicoski (WC) in Q3.
The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has an existing bad record of eight matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 50 per cent to 187.50 points and a one-match sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 140.63 points and a one-match sanction.
In summary, Farmer's poor record means that his one-game sanction cannot be reduced, even with an early plea.
Farmer accepted guilt and the MRP penalty of a one-match suspension.
